Board of Experts Non-food Products
The Board of Experts for Non-food Products focuses on the establishment and changes of criteria for the non-food products of SMK’s various quality labels and certificates.
What does the Board of Experts do?
The certification schemes are established under the responsibility of the SMK Board of Experts. This Board consists of representatives of interested parties from non-food sectors, government, science, environmental experts, and end-users. They have a say in the development and updating of the requirements in the certification schemes. The Board ultimately determines the objective criteria for more sustainable production and business operations for each product group.
