Andrew Keys

Project leader

Andrew Keys joined SMK in September 2026 as a Project Manager for the EU Ecolabel. In this role, he is responsible for assessing and reviewing applications for EU Ecolabel certification.

Andrew studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Bath in the United Kingdom before moving to the Netherlands to pursue a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Technology at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). He subsequently worked as a researcher on national energy models at the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL), and later as a consultant at Circle Economy. In that role, he primarily conducted assessments and research projects for governments seeking to transition their economies towards greater circularity.

Andrew views his work at SMK as an excellent opportunity to apply his expertise in energy decarbonization and circularity to support the sustainability efforts of companies and their products.
